Grief is heavy enough on its own. But many of us carry a second weight — the voice that says we’re grieving wrong, taking too long, or not honoring our loved ones properly. That voice isn’t grief. It’s the critical voice adding guilt, shame, and self-judgment to an already tender process.

Join Amy and licensed psychologist Lynn Karjala (originator of the Critical Voice concept) as they explore how to recognize when your inner critic is making grief harder than it needs to be — and how to give yourself permission to feel, heal, and stay connected to those you love.

In this session, you’ll discover:

  • The telltale phrases of the critical voice vs. grief emotions
  • Why the critical voice emerges so strongly after loss (and what it’s trying to protect you from)
  • How to honor your loved one while also giving yourself permission to live fully

Format: 15 minutes of insight, followed by 45 minutes of Q&A
